  1. Ordering and purchasing

In order to purchase online the e-shop products, the Customer has to access to the dedicated website (Catalogue).  Every product on sale is accompanied by a picture, a brief description and the sell price, which may vary according to the Country of destination.

Within the e-shop section, it is possible to select and order the products offered. It is sufficient to choose the amount of products and confirm, after specifying alternative preferences.  In this way, the products will be put in the shopping basket for the internet purchase.

Orders can be added, deleted or confirmed prior to the payment.

To confirm the order, the Customer can proceed in the following ways:

  1. if he has a registered account, by logging in with his email and password;
  2. if he does not have a registered account, by creating an account profile and entering the information required to sign-in.

The purchase is completed for Garmont International Srl, hereinafter as “Garmont”,  only when the order is confirmed by the Company through email at the end of the purchasing process.

Garmont may, at its own discretion, deny the order if the information given by the Customer would result to be incorrect or misleading (e.g.  incorrect or incomplete payment details, incorrect billing and invoicing details, incorrect or incomplete delivering address), or in case of incorrect information related to the ordered Items (e.g. incorrect selling price, incorrect details related to availability or description of the Items).

Information related to the online Catalogue are the most up-to-date and accurate, however, none of the contents of the website has to be intended or understood as a representation or a binding declaration of the Items.  All the images, descriptions and pictures have a purely indicative purpose and, since the colours of the Items may vary depending on the type of monitor used, they can be different to the delivered Items. 

  1. Availability of products and sell price

For each Item is displayed the unit price for selling expressed in Euro, V.A.T. (Value Added Tax ) included,  delivering costs excluded.

The amount of the delivering costs may vary, depending on the type of delivery, the Items’ quantity and/or their value, their volume and weight and their place of destination; these costs will be identified during the process and in the “order confirmation” form.

All the items displayed in the e-shop section are available in a storage depot as well. In case the size of the product would be temporarily out of stock, this circumstance will be showed during the purchasing process.

If any inconvenience, related to the delay in the delivering, will occur, the Customer will be immediately informed via e-mail. A notification will be sent in the same way in case of unavailability, even temporary, of one or more items. 

Garmont delivers in all the Countries included in the list provided during the process of registration. However, issues related to Customs/border station may occur and in this case the delivery of the items may be prevented. In this case the Customer will be informed immediately via e-mail and subsequently reimbursed.

  1. Terms of payment

For the payment of the purchases, the Customer can use the following methods of payment:

Credit Cart accepted by the gateway  NEXI (XPay Pro).

  1. Terms of delivery and delivery charges

All the items ordered by the Customer and confirmed by Garmont will be delivered by express mail (local and international) to the address selected by the Customer for the delivery. For the service, an extra charge may be requested; these charges will be identified during the process and in the “order confirmation” form and they will vary depending on the country of destination.

Indicatively, the delivery charges vary depending on their volume and weight and have a minimum cost of EUR 10,00.

Garmont reserves the right to apply favourable conditions and terms of delivery or to cancel them, both in Italy and worldwide, by informing in advance the new offer conditions on the website.

The delivery of Items will take place only after the regular registration and confirmation by Garmont of the payment of the purchase price.

Items to be shipped in Italy are normally delivered within 3-4 working days from the day of shipping; Items to be shipped within the European Union are normally delivered  within 5-6 working days from the day of shipping. With regards to the extra-EU shipments, usually 7-8 working days are needed to perform the delivery. Shipments take place from Monday to Friday. Any variation will be communicated to the Customer via e-mail in advance

  1. Import and customs duties

The products are not subjected to import taxes or customs duties if they are sold in Italy or within the European Union .

In case of delivery to extra-EU countries, the Items may be subjected to import taxes or customs duties, depending on the type of product and the country of destination. It is not possible to forecast or predict in any way if and which costs have to be paid for the clearance of the items.

In all cases, import taxes and customs duties will be paid by the Customer.

  1. Right of withdrawal

The Customer can claim the right of withdrawal (as provided for by the Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005) which can be exercised, without justification, within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the Goods ordered.

The Right of withdrawal can be claimed within the abovementioned term, by registered mail with receipt, possibly advanced via e-mail. Delivery charges related to the return of goods will be paid exclusively by the Customer.

In order to ensure the Right of withdrawal, the items have to be returned free of damage, in their original package, in perfect conditions and upon agreement with Garmont.

The goods have to be returned by ensured post in Free Port to the following address:

Any package sent C.O.D. or in through freight forwarding will be collected by Garmont.

Refund for the price charged, and related to the items returned, will be paid by crediting the credit card used for the purchase or by crediting the bank account given by the Customer, within 14 working days from the date of receipt of the restitution of the goods.  

The items, if returned incomplete, damaged, spoiled, soiled for fact attributable to the Customer, will not be refunded and  the related right to obtain the amount originally paid will not be claimable by the Customer.

If, during the refund, an error by Garmont will occur, the delivery charges will be paid by the Vendor; in the remaining cases, the delivery charges related to the return of goods will be paid exclusively by the Customer.

  1. Governing law

All the agreements are valid and enforceable under the laws of Italy.

The provisions contained in the agreements, meaning every order and purchase, even if agreed with foreign customers or with delivery to be made abroad, are always valid and enforceable under the laws of Italy.

The courts of Treviso (Italy) will have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute arising under or in connection with the orders

  1. Registered trade marks

If the ordering Customer will receive a different item (different from the one displayed in the e-shop section) or a damaged item, he has the right to report this circumstance within 14 days from the date of delivery.  If the item is defective, the Customer has the right to claim an examination to be carried out by the Office of Guarantee of Garmont within 2 years from the date of the order.

Consumer Guarantee

Garmont guarantees the rights to the consumer in case he will be faced by unsatisfactory goods within 2 years from the date of purchasing of the product.

If during this warranty period a lack of conformity of the good, Garmont, at its discretion, will repair or replace the good or its defective components,  under the terms and conditions indicated below, without charging the customer for the labour and materials used. The Vendor reserves the right to repair the defective Goods or to replace them with new ones, having the same colour and equal or better characteristics, in case the original Good is no longer available.

Terms and conditions

The warranty is applicable only if the unsatisfactory good is returned, together with the proof of purchase (receipt of delivery) to the following address:

Garmont reserves the right to deny the warranty covering, in case the abovementioned document, or the information contained therein,, will be incomplete or unreadable.

All the trademarks related to the names of the items and the technologies showed in the website are registered marks of Garmont or are the exclusive property of the company and its subsidiaries

In the absence of a written consent by Garmont, any reproduction, modification or use of marks, images, logos or pictures is no permitted.  

Any unauthorised use will be prosecuted
